Office Ventilation

This can be provided using small air handling units incorporating fans, filter and heater batteries or heat recovery ventilation units that recover 70% of the heat from the extract airstream that would otherwise be lost.

The ventilation systems can be linked with the air conditioning controls to maximise efficiency wherever possible.

Commercial Kitchen Ventilation Systems

Scubair are able to design and install commercial kitchen ventilation solutions including stainless steel extract canopies incorporating grease filters, gas interlock panels, fire rated ductwork and fire suppression systems where required.

Where restaurants are located in sensitive residential areas Scubair are able to supply and install grease and odour control solutions to minimise the impact of the emissions of the extract system to the surrounding area.

Filtration

In general, air filters are used to remove particulate matter from atmospheric air in order to enhance indoor air quality and to prevent the build up of contaminants on heater or condenser coils and other induct ventilation components.

• HEPA filters - HEPA filters are very high efficiency and are used in environments where high level protection at sub micron level is required.

• Kitchen Extract Filters - are designed to remove grease from the airstream preventing it from being discharged into the atmosphere.
